Jorge Lesmes

Jorge (MSc Comp Sci) is in charge of leading and defining everis strategic direction and value proposition for the Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology initiative for the banking sector for all geographies of the Group, managing the multiple implementation projects the company is participating in. With over 12 years’ experience in the area of Banking Consulting (Corporate & Retail) Jorge has acquired an expert knowledge in critical banking infrastructure and regulatory transformation including CMA Open Banking, GDPR and PSD2 having led implementations for multiple Tier 1 global banks. Jorge current focus is on how to better leverage and utilize Blockchain and DLT to solve intricate organizational processes that banking clients are facing such as cross-border payments, syndicate loans settlement, FX trade matching or customer on-boarding through tokenized digital identity. The cross between AI/ML and DLT or the inter-ledger infrastructure to improve connectivity between different DLT platforms are other areas of his interest in this space.
